WHAT IS PYRONEERS?

Pyroneers is the first independent robotics project, founded in Athens during the 2024 Summer Season.The project is an initiative of 7 high school students, passionate about robotics and new technologies, fulfilling their dream of competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition.

OUR MISSION

Make the FIRST Robotics Competition accessible for students in Greece and help preserve the educational aspect of robotics.

PYRONEERS MEMBERS

Members of Greek National Robotics Team.

FIRST Tech Challenge Champions of Greece and 1st Connect Award Winners on Houston World Championship 2024.

Members use professional software as SolidWorks, Matlab, Adobe Suite, AutoCad, Java etc.

Long-standing volunteers in the robotics community and others.

Coaches are alumni of FIRST competitions and other educational robotics programs.

IMPACT

7 high school students have the opportunity to compete in the FRC for the first time in Greece.

Provide inspiration for younger students to get started with robotics and STEM.

Pave the way for existing robotics teams to advance to the FRC.

Become a key factor in FIRST's campaign for the declaration of robotics as a sport in Greece.
